Geocaching

What is Geocaching? It is like a game of “hide ‘n’ seek,” but with items in containers! You can go to www.geocaching.com to sign up for a free membership and to get the coordinates for a geocaching adventure. Once you get the coordinates, plug them into your GPS to get close (within 20 to 30 feet) to the geocache. After you have found the geocache, leave the item for the next person or replace it with something of equal or greater value. Go back to the geocaching website to log your find! Then you are ready to try another geocache location or create your own! Geocaches are hidden all over the world.

Check the Downtown Valdosta area to see where you can start your adventure!
